| I have a shotgun which IDs very close to one shown on pg 44 of the
April '07 American Rifleman.
Mine is: 12 ga 32" dbl bbl, hammer, St. Louis Arms Co., Fine
Damascus, Climax No. 2, choke & choke, under bbl: 76XXX, A4PD,
Birmingham proofmarks
Nice breech engraving, stock checkering. Action very tight, bore is
perfect, shiny.
This is NOT your grandpa's corn crib gun. Bought any time between 1880
and 1910.
Can anyone suggest any way to determine actual manufacturer?
